Figure skater Evan Lysacek took home the gold medal on Thursday (February 18) at the 2010 Winter Olympics at Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The 24-year-old wore a creation by designer Vera Wang, who’s a former figure skater herself. She created five outfits for Evan, 24, to wear at the Olympics, according to CBS. In the past, Vera has designed costumes for Nancy Kerrigan and Michelle Kwan.
Evan beat out Russia’s Evgeni Plushenko, who repeatedly has argued that Evan‘s Olympic victory is the first without a quad jump since 1994.
